Consistency is MAJOR Key

I am now 25 years old and I have been blogging since the age of 12. Thats more than half my life! There is something about the process of documenting that I love especially when it comes to the creative process.
With the new rise of influencers and bloggers I have wanted to give up. How are people blowing up out of nowhere overnight? Yet I have realized that this is my calling so I will not stop. You cannot complain when you aren't getting the results that you want if you aren't maximizing your resources.
In my Dj Khaled voice, consistency is MAJOR key.
With that said I am challenging you and myself to maximize your resources. My friend and I were just talking about discipline the other day and how it is a spiritual trait. During this conversation she said something that was "major key". You could be the winning team at a basketball game that won by 10 points. But what if afterwards your coach told you that you could've won by 50? Why would you not want to maximize your results?
A friend of mine had told me something similar a few months ago about youtube and being an influencer. A lot of influencers once they reach a certain following they back down and start producing less content. She told me something that I would never forget. If being an influencer is your full-time then you need to put full-time work into it. The point where you start growing is when you should actually be working the hardest. You're at 300K and you start chilling cause you think you're good but what if you kept working hard? You could be at 500K then a million?
You can not back down.
This is actually when you should start getting even more serious about your content.
With that said, I have all of this equipment just sitting here. I literally have a whole photo/ video studio in my living room. Multiple lenses, a camera and numerous photographers that want to shoot. I used to cry that I don't have clothes but now I have connections with local boutiques and designers that allow me to wear their clothes. Okay so what about hair? I have a hairline and work with a hair company. What about makeup? My Spelman sister is willing to do my makeup in exchange for content and credit. I also know some makeup tricks here and there. So my point is I have no excuses not to be one of the top fashion bloggers in the world.
So my question for you is... are you doing the best with everything you have? Are you maximizing your results? I know I can post a video a week, post 3-5 times a week on Instagram and study my craft. What are 1-3 things that you can commit to in order to maximize your results in any area of your life? Comment below.
